No secrets.
Science, simplified.
Every active, every functional ingredient, and exactly why it's there. Clinical concentrations, total transparency — no marketing names, no hidden complexes.
Three ingredients.
Everything built around them.
Each product is built around one star active — chosen for clinical evidence, not trends. Here's what they are and why we chose them.
Alpha-Arbutin
Blocks melanin production at the source — not by stripping pigment, but by stopping new dark spots from forming. Clinically validated for PIH on South Asian skin tones.
Triple Ceramide Complex
Your skin barrier is 50% ceramides, 25% cholesterol, 25% fatty acids. Lahore summers strip it. One ceramide type leaves gaps. All three, plus cholesterol and phytosphingosine, rebuild it properly.
6-Filter UV System
No single UV filter covers 280nm–400nm. Six filters working together leave zero gaps — zero white cast, matte finish that holds in Pakistani humidity.
Every ingredient
pulls its weight.
No fillers, no padding. Every ingredient in our formulas has a functional reason to be there.
Niacinamide
Minimises pores, evens skin tone, and strengthens the barrier. In every single Glowve product.
Sodium Hyaluronate
Penetrates deeper than standard HA to hydrate from within — not just the surface.
Tranexamic Acid
Blocks melanin transfer at a second pathway — works alongside Alpha-Arbutin for double the brightening effect.
Panthenol (Vitamin B5)
Locks moisture in and accelerates skin healing. Essential for barrier repair and serum comfort.
Zinc PCA
Controls sebum without drying. Keeps Daylite matte in Pakistani summer heat.
Licorice Root Extract
Botanical brightening and anti-inflammatory. A gentler complement to the brightening actives.
Allantoin
Speeds cell renewal and soothes redness — makes actives tolerable even for sensitive skin.
Tocopherol (Vitamin E)
Antioxidant shield against UV damage and pollution. Amplifies the effect of other antioxidants.
Matrixyl Peptides
Signal peptides that boost collagen production in the dermis.
What we refuse
to put in your skin.
Transparency goes both ways — knowing what's in the formula matters, but so does knowing what we deliberately left out.
Hydroquinone
The most common bleaching agent in Pakistani fairness products. Linked to ochronosis with long-term use. We use alpha-arbutin instead — same pathway, no risk.
Parabens
Preservatives flagged for hormone disruption at accumulative doses. We use phenoxyethanol + ethylhexylglycerin — equally effective, cleaner profile.
Mineral Oil
Cheap occlusive that sits on top of skin and does nothing for barrier repair. Our ceramide + cholesterol complex actually rebuilds it.
Artificial Colorants
No colour ingredient in any of our formulas serves a function. If it doesn't do something, it doesn't go in.
Bleaching Agents
Mercury, kojic acid at unregulated concentrations, and other depigmenting agents found in fairness creams. We brighten, we don't bleach.
SLS / SLES
Harsh surfactants that strip the skin barrier. Already compromised skin gets worse with every wash. Not in anything we make.
Phthalates
Plasticiser chemicals used as fragrance carriers — with an endocrine disruption risk profile we're not comfortable with. Zero in our range.
Steroid / Corticosteroid
Widely misused in Pakistani skin lightening creams. Temporarily clears skin while thinning it permanently. Never, under any circumstance.
The complete
ingredient lists.
Exactly what's on the bottle — in INCI order (highest concentration first). Key actives are highlighted. We'll never hide an ingredient behind a "proprietary blend."
